Each confederation got their respective winners  who will be qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, as well their coach to do the training and extensive assistance.

The proposed venues for the World Cup are the famous Soccer City, Johannesburg; Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban; Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town; Ellis Park Stadium, Johannesburg; Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria; Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Port Elizabeth; Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein; Peter Mokaba Stadium, Nelspruit; and the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg. These ten venues were finalized last March 17, 2006 from being thirteen on the original proposal.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup’s official mascot is Zakumi. It’s a 15 year old anthromorphised leopard which has a green hair. The mascot’s colours-green and yellow reflects the South African playing strip. Zakumi’s official motto is “Zakumi’s Game is Fair Play” which will appear during the tournament.

Finally, the name Jabulani which means in Zulu as “Bringing joy to everyone” will be the 2010 FIFA World Cup’s official match ball made by Adidas.
